Jean Griswold, Broker/Owner
Jean retired from healthcare in 2005 to pursue a career in real estate. Prior to establishing her own independent brokerage firm, she was affiliated with RE/MAX and achieved The 100% Club** status for 2008/2009/2010.
Jean holds the following designations, all of which enable her to work with unique and very specific client needs: EcoBroker® Certified; Transnational Referral Certified (TRC); Five Star Professional (FSP) with sub-designations in both REO and short sales; Certified Distressed Property Expert® (CDPE); Certified Short Sale Seller Agent (CSSS); Certified Short Sale Buyer Agent (CSSB); and Short Sales & Foreclosure Resource (SFR).
Jean's early professional career was in the healthcare industry – after years in x-ray equipment manufacturing, she founded what became a nationally recognized award-winning mobile mammography program that served women in four southern states. She is a graduate of Leadership Charlotte and a Charlotte Chamber "Entrepreneur of the Year."
Jean was born in Key West, FL into a career Navy family (yes, she's a native Conch!). She has four children and 5-1/2 (yes, a new baby on the way!) grandchildren – all of whom live in Mecklenburg and Cabarrus counties. She and her husband live in a rural area near Mt Pleasant, NC; her 93-year-old mother – whose family history in North Carolina dates back to the 1740's – lives with them.

Kim Hylton, Buyer's Agent
Kim has an Associate degree in Business and worked as an Administrative Assistant for 5 years while her children were in elementary school. In addition, Kim ran BKB2 Motorsports, which specialized in racing kids in the 600 Racing series.
Kim entered the Real Estate world in 2005. When her children, Brandon and Bret, took over the BKB2 business in their High School years, Kim began pursuing her real estate career.
Kim has the following accreditations to help her clients: Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR®), GREEN, SFR, Certified Distressed Property Expert® (CDPE), Certified Short Sale Buyer Agent (CSSB), and e-PRO®.
Kim enjoys reading, supporting her husbands’ NASCAR career, and helping her clients find a great home.

John Lynn, Buyer's Agent
John is an electrical engineer and physicist with degrees from David Lipscomb University and the University of Tennessee. He holds patents and has owned his own company since 1984, specializing in providing robotics and factory automation services to clients around the world (for more information, visit www.specialmachines.com).
John's passions include his Cessna 172 (he’s a private pilot), SCUBA, and Biblical archeology (including expeditions to the Holy Land where he participated in digs). He enjoys reading, photography, and is an avid student of American history.
John began his dual career branching into real estate in 2007; and he is both EcoBroker® Certified and TRC. John primarily provides buyer agency and is extremely effective with engineers and “techies” moving to this area.

Halina Schork
Halina was born in Ohio – she and her husband Robert have been married for more than 35 years. They have 3 children and 3 grandchildren – all live locally.
Her business background includes an earlier stint as a real estate agent herself (in Ohio); a medical background with Carolinas Medical Center/Charlotte and with Mobile Health Outreach/Charlotte; and now with our Team.
Halina enjoys time with her family, a hobby making beautiful soy candles, hiking, and playing Rock Band!

John Lynn was born in LaPorte, Indiana into a career Army family; most of his early childhood through college years (University of Munich) were spent in Germany. He has three children and two grandsons – one daughter lives in Toronto (Canada); one in Chicago; and his son lives locally in Mecklenburg County.
Christy is a native of Cabarrus County; she currently lives near the NC Research Campus in Kannapolis and is very knowledgeable about the area’s great attractions and available living.
